Walking from home to Ridley Road market, we used the children's game 'Chatterbox' as a means to talk and play with Dalston's local residents. What followed was a frank sharing of home, comfort, journeys and cities of the heart.
Shown as part of Optimistic Production's Optimistic Immigrants, This is not a gateway Festival, 24-26th Oct 2008

A to B
A 2 part, 2 night audio walk designed for one person a time
Scratched in July 2008, in collaboration with Tin Horse Theatre
Audience members passed through the streets of Shoreditch and Dalston with the guidance of little known Middle London Walks founder Cyril Headcliff and the appearancce of other companions. The journey took audience members from places that once existed to those that are yet to exist, tracing lives that have passed upon the land we walk upon from railway archeologists, jazz club owners, ghostly residents and estate agents. It is a piece about the nature and politics of repetitions in time.
